The impact from passing of the Provider Assessment bill and the subsequent cuts by the Governor is still being processed. The new rates generated by the rebasing specified in the Provider Assessment bill will be cut by 4.5% and will be effective July 1, 2016. The State has indicated they are working on these rates and they will be published in the Kansas Register in early June. The new Provider Assessment rates will be applied to the 3rd Quarter of 2016, due in October. If you have specific questions about your rates, please contact Lisa Stuever.
