In May, Kidron Bethel Village in North Newton honored current employees graduating from college and high school. The 2020 graduates walked the halls of health care neighborhoods wearing caps, gowns and masks as residents and fellow employees clapped for them. They received their special “diplomas” from Linda Peters, Kidron Bethel Village’s executive director and were celebrated with punch and cupcakes. Thirteen total graduates were honored from Newton High School, Valley Center High School, Hutchinson Community College, Bethel College and WSU Tech.

Some of the college graduates who participated in the walk at Kidron Bethel Village included Kristen Herzet and Katelyn Boston of Bethel College and Christie Spillane, Emma Lakey and Verania Torres of Hutchinson Community College.
A few of the high school graduates who participated in the walk at Kidron Bethel Village included Josh Kennell, Michael Neufeld, Alex Buffalo and Raymond Comacho.
