Be part of the movement to make Kansas more age friendly.

The 2026 Kansas Governor’s Conference on Aging will build on last year’s momentum by convening health professionals, policymakers, students, educators and community leaders from across Kansas to share ideas, strengthen cross-sector partnerships and elevate aging-related work statewide.

This year’s conference will focus on strengthening the workforce that supports older adults across health care, home and community-based services (HCBS), aging services and community systems. The conference theme highlights workforce development across all tracks, with particular emphasis on:

  • Recruitment and retention of the aging services workforce
  • Education, training and career pathways
  • Evidence-based practices that strengthen service delivery
  • Collaboration between health systems, education and community partners
