Join LeadingAge Kansas and Dr. Bonni Goodwin with the University of Oklahoma’s School of Social Work every Monday at 12 PM or Wednesdays at 7:00 PM for a COVID-19 mental health psychoeducational group meeting, Coping with COVID. These meetings are intended to help you and your staff work through the shared trauma of COVID-19 in aging services. The 50-minute virtual meetings will occur weekly through the end of February 2021. They are designed for you to step in and out as available and will be recorded for you to listen to at a later time. During the meetings, participants will have the chance to check in with the group and learn practical strategies to increase coping and resiliency during this stressful time. Strategies include progressive muscle relaxation, mindfulness techniques, processing grief related to COVID, and others.

Daytime meetings will be held Mondays at noon starting November 23rd. Register here for free.
