Last Tuesday, PSH in Pretty Prairie held an orientation and training session for their first group of summer Youth Volunteers. Twenty (20) students participated in the training. Important topics included: fire safety; active shooter response; infection control; resident rights; wheelchair safety; and superior customer service. Several students practiced safe handling and proper serving of food and drinks as well as wheelchair safety. This is our second year to sponsor the volunteer program. Each student will receive a Youth Volunteer T-Shirt so as to be easily recognized as a member of the program. Importantly, these are their future employees.
