This program provides scholarships to full and part-time employees of LeadingAge Kansas member organizations. To date over 80 scholarships totaling around $70,000 have been given to support aging services professionals in reaching their goals. Any educational program that increases the employee’s capacity to serve elders will be considered by the scholarship application review team. Previous winners have used scholarships for programs like CMA, administrator-in-training, culinary school, BS in Human Resources, personal training certificate, MS in Divinity, CDM, SSD, wound care, and nursing school.
