Building relationships and making meaningful connections with your legislators is key to advancing policies that benefit aging services. Aging Services Day at the Kansas Capitol is the perfect opportunity to start developing or continue building relationships between providers and policymakers.

Join LeadingAge Kansas, KHCA, and KACE on Wednesday, January 21 for our 3rd annual joint Aging Services Day. We will meet in the morning for education at The Beacon then go to the Capitol for a full afternoon of legislative advocacy on issues that are crucial to the aging services field with our Kansas Legislators.  It’s a powerful opportunity to allow your voice to be heard and influence positive change for aging services providers and the population we care for.

Appointments with Legislators will be made on your behalf and shared with you during the morning debrief.  Priority registration deadline to ensure a scheduled meeting with your legislator is next Wednesday, January 14, but registration for the remainder of the day’s events will remain open until January 20.

Register yourself or a colleague for this event to maximize your organization’s impact on the legislature this year.
