Participants will experience three interactive sessions, featuring practical applications and case studies, which will guide them through fall prevention best practices onto root cause analysis and post-fall processes. Hear from current Kansas providers working in nursing facilities and state licensed only settings, as well as current surveyors, who will share their experiences building strong falls management programs.
KDADS leadership will also join us to discuss updates to iQIES, the Special Focus Facility (SFF) program, and top-cited deficiencies for SNF and SLO. Up to 6.5 continuing education hours are also available for administrators, operators, and nurses who attend.
Your team can attend in Manhattan on Wednesday, April 29 or in Wichita/via live stream on Thursday, April 30. Registration opens at 8:30 each day, with the official program kicking off at 9:00 am with KDADS Top Cited Deficiencies.
