HB 2125 passed the Kansas legislature this session which exempts adult care homes, as defined in K.S.A. 39-923, from having to license their facilities to provide cosmetology services to residents. A caveat to this would be campuses that also serve IL residents cosmetology services in either their NF or ALF. In these cases, maintaining a license to provide this service to IL residents is recommended.
