CMS has issued Final Settings Rule Heightened Scrutiny reports for some Kansas assisted living facilities, with more to come. KDADs now has 30 days to respond with a plan to come into compliance, and the agency is still determining the number of days it will allow providers to adhere to the plan and continue offering HCBS. The Corrective Action Plan will be made available on the agency website after it is sent to CMS. We are beginning to work with our national partners on how to address concerns surrounding the Final Settings Rule for our members and will be reaching out for feedback soon. If you have questions or comments, please forward them to Kylee Childs.
