Schowalter Villa, a Bluestem Community in Hesston, has announced the launch of a major project, called “A Private Home for Everyone.”  Currently, 38 health care residents do not have private rooms. The $6.1 million project will provide a private room for every health care resident, by repurposing the existing assisted living portion of the main building.  The repurposed building will also provide additional onsite intergenerational day care classrooms.  A new state-of-the-art two story assisted living building and new campus entrance will be built.
