It was a grand night for the Community Event celebrating Older American’s Month at Locust Grove Village in LaCrosse!  There was so much to do with good food, kid games and bounce houses.  The Sherriff, Officers, and Fire Department volunteers shared their evening teaching young and old alike about their vehicles and equipment. Kids enjoyed the crafts provided by the Rush County 4-H and the kids train was a hit.  You could catch couples dancing to the music of Otter Creek along with clapping and toe tapping.  The staff of LGV served delicious grilled hot dogs, yummy pasta salad and cookies to over 200 persons.  At the end of the night, over $1200 was donated and will be contributed to the La Crosse Elementary Playground Project.  Thank you to the playground committee for their collaboration with Locust Grove Village on this awesome night!
