It is with sadness that I let you know I have left LeadingAge Kansas. It is with joy that I tell you I am still in the membership. My heart has forever been filled by serving older people. I have spent most of my career in a long-term care setting and that is where I feel truly at home. I am now working at Brewster helping to lead the health center team. The LeadingAge Kansas team has been the best to work with. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my 2 years here and have learned a lot from them and from you, the members. I can tell you from firsthand experience your association works diligently every single day to serve you. I am proud to continue to be a member of LeadingAge Kansas and look forward to seeing you all at future conferences and connecting as a peer. I am so encouraged by all the great care I witnessed during my time at LeadingAge Kansas. You all are top notch. Keep it up. So, this is not goodbye – it’s I’ll see ya later.
