The Department of Veterans Affairs launched a pilot program offering clinical resources to support caregiver mental health. The resources are designed specifically for the unique needs and stressors imposed on caregivers. The Program of Comprehensive Assistance for Family Caregivers will support up to 2,300 caregivers through virtual tools and counseling, recognizing that caregivers are an integral component of our veterans’ health. Veterans’ caregivers can see if they are eligible for assistance by reaching out to their local VA. More information on the program and links to assist with finding your local VA are available HERE
