Andrea Unruh (left) of Hesston and Lyn Ungang (right) of Hillsboro have been named the new program directors of the Bluestem Wellness Centers. Unruh will be at the North Newton location, while Ungang will be based at the Hesston location.

Unruh and Ungang will be responsible for helping members achieve their fitness goals through high-quality programs and services. They will work with instructors to continue to grow and improve the exercise classes offered at the Bluestem Wellness Centers.

“These two are great additions to the Bluestem Wellness Centers. Their knowledge of health and wellness and their friendliness is a perfect fit. We have a personal, community feel at our centers as we assist people in reaching their goals and Andrea and Lyn will continue to foster that atmosphere,” said Bluestem Wellness director, Jason Jones.

Ungang attended Hesston College and Tabor College, graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Health/Physical Education-Strength and Conditioning and earned an MBA in 2018. Unruh has 20 years of experience working with the community offering massage therapy and esthetic services and has a passion for health and wellness.

The community is invited to meet and greet the new program directors on Thursday, July 11. A come-and-go reception will be held that day at the North Newton location 11 a.m.-1 p.m. and at the Hesston location 4 p.m.-6 p.m.
