The LeadingAge Kansas Foundation Scholarship application window is now open. Full and part-time employees in your organization are eligible to apply, but if they do not know they can’t apply. Please help us promote this amazing opportunity in your organization. Here are some ideas to help with promotion.

  1. Hang the promotional poster (available in 8.5×11 and 11×17) in a highly visible area of the organization. If you need more than one copy of the poster, use the attached files, and print as needed.
  2. E-mail or text a copy of the poster with a word of encouragement to your team.
  3. Talk about the scholarship opportunity in team meetings and trainings. If you have a scholarship winner working in your organization, let the rest of the team know. Encourage other leaders in your organization to do the same.
  4. Take part in or encourage others to join the Q&A call on June 16th at 2:00 P.M. It can be accessed by calling 866-212-0875 and using the code 3603898#
  5. Connect individually with those you think might have interest in applying. Don’t forget to offer your support (and ours) as they work on the application. Encourage other leaders (and previous scholarship winners) to do the same.
