The upcoming Mental Wellness 2024 ECHO: Enhancing Care for Older Adults through Non-pharmacological Interventions and Appropriate Medication Management is funded by the United Health Care Community Plan and is designed to ensure learners can describe regulations for and state trends in antipsychotic prescribing and use in older adults, identify interventions and treatments to enhance behavioral function in older adults, and determine appropriate circumstances for prescribing antipsychotic drugs to older adults. 

Sessions will run on Tuesdays from March 26th through April 23rd from 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM CT, and CEs will be offered at no cost. Learn more and register here.

A graduate of Wichita State University’s Math Education program, Addy is using her planning and organizational skills, creativity, and love of helping others to support our providers and members. First as Administrative Coordinator and now as Associate Director of Communications & Events, Addy’s primary duties include overseeing general member communications through social media, our Weekly Member Calls, the Aging Update, and database and website maintenance. She also collaborates with the team to plan, produce, and market events across all aspects of LeadingAge Kansas, manage Continuing Education processing.. Outside of the office, Addy enjoys crafting, playing board games, video games, and DnD, and spending time with her husband and their two cats.
