Congratulations to Parkside Homes in Hillsboro! They recently received a $2,400 grant from the Hillsboro Community Foundation to conduct an intergenerational program, “Cooking and Learning in Grandma’s kitchen”, with Parkside residents and Hillsboro youth.  Residents will teach youth how to “scratch cook and bake” and also about the food customs in their area. First up: Homemade bread and butter! The grant funds will primarily be used for residential type kitchen equipment and supplies.
