Researchers are seeking direct care workers currently employed providing direct care to people living with dementia. Eligible participants include administrators, nurses (RN and LPN/LVN), nursing assistants, medication assistants, personal care aides, home health aides, and others who have similar job titles and roles who work in nursing homes, assisted living communities, or home care agencies.

Respondents will participate in a 45–60-minute Zoom video interview in which they will verbally answer survey questions displayed on a screen and then share their thoughts about the survey questions. Interviews will be scheduled in March and April 2024. Respondents will receive a $50 check as a token of appreciation for participation. With a professional background in law enforcement and child welfare, and a successful 2023 legislative practicum with the Children's Alliance of Kansas, she brings rich professional experience to her role as Director of Government Affairs, and a front-line perspective on the needs of health and human services providers in our state.
