As you create your summer to-do list, make sure to include applying for the LeadingAge Kansas Foundation scholarship or supporting others in your organization as they apply.  The scholarship application window is open until August 1st.  The application process is user-friendly but does require some investment of time so don’t delay, start today.

The Foundation is hosting an Informational/Q&A call on Wednesday, June 26th  at 10:00 AM.  LeadingAge Kansas Foundation representatives will provide an overview of the scholarship program and answer any questions you might have.  Anyone interested in applying or supporting an applicant should plan to join the call.   Call (866) 212-0875 and use the passcode 3603898#.

Stephanie Gfeller, MS, LACHA is the Director of Education and Leadership. Stephanie joined the association in 2019 and oversees the development of our education programs, writes and manages all of our federal grant programs, and leads our Center for Leadership program. With her master’s degree in Gerontology from Kansas State University, adult care home administrator license, experience as a researcher and instructor at the K State Center on Aging, and endless creativity, Stephanie is ideally suited to her leadership role in our field.
