About Social Services Bootcamp: Compliance, Documentation, & Person-Centered Care in Long-Term Care  

This intensive virtual series is designed to equip participants with the essential tools, knowledge, and confidence needed to excel in today’s regulatory and person-centered care environment. From developing comprehensive social assessments to crafting meaningful person-centered care plans, this session will walk you through the core responsibilities of social services professionals in long-term care. You’ll gain practical strategies for identifying and delivering medically related social services, meeting documentation standards, and ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations. Special emphasis will also be placed on trauma-informed care practices, an increasingly vital component of quality resident care. 

August 12, 13, & 26, 2026

  • 10:45-11:45 AM | Session 2

A graduate of Wichita State University’s Math Education program, Addy is using her planning and organizational skills, creativity, and love of helping others to support our providers and members. First as Administrative Coordinator and now as Associate Director of Communications & Events, Addy’s primary duties include overseeing general member communications through social media, our Weekly Member Calls, the Aging Update, and database and website maintenance. She also collaborates with the team to plan, produce, and market events across all aspects of LeadingAge Kansas, manage Continuing Education processing.. Outside of the office, Addy enjoys crafting, playing board games, video games, and DnD, and spending time with her husband and their two cats.
