As providers plan for the new MDS, a reminder that earlier this week LeadingAge released the 2023 MDS Toolkit and Resources. This free-to-members, in-depth toolkit walks nursing home providers through everything they need to know to implement the changes that will take effect in October, just a few short months away. The tool kit includes resources for training, testing, auditing, monitoring, and explaining the impact of the new MDS. There are also PPT slide presentations and separate training materials by discipline. LeadingAge members can use the pre and post-tests included in the toolkit to make sure they are ready.
