Bluestem Wellness Centers has named Holly Hajjaj as the new program director at the Hesston location.
Hajjaj will be responsible for helping members achieve their wellness goals through high-quality programs and services. She will also work with group exercise instructors to continue to grow and improve the fitness classes offered at Bluestem Wellness Centers.
“I’m excited about Holly joining the Bluestem Wellness team,” said Jason Jones, director of Bluestem Wellness Centers. “As a certified yoga instructor and healthy lifestyle coach, she has a passion for helping people achieve their personal goals in all aspects of wellness.”
Hajjaj is certified in personal training and as a yoga instructor. She teaches a variety of yoga classes including restorative, gentle, office-themed/chair-based, beginner and intermediate.
Prior to assuming her role at Bluestem Wellness Centers – Hesston, Hajjaj served in a variety of health and fitness roles, including several at the Greater Wichita YMCA. Most recently she served the organization as corporate wellness director for three years. Other of her roles include health and wellness presenter focusing on areas such as nutrition, exercise and social, emotional, medical and financial wellness, as well as healthy lifestyle coach working one-on-one with individuals on a variety of wellness areas in order to support their unique needs and goals.
“My primary goal with Bluestem Wellness is to work to support the unique needs and interests of the community members, residents and staff,” said Hajjaj. “When the wellness center is able to re-open to the community, my hope is to provide programming that is fresh and attractive, including some new elements.”
As Bluestem Wellness Centers – Hesston is located at Schowalter Villa, a life plan community that is home to senior citizens, the wellness center currently remains closed due to COVID-19 precautions. Wellness Center members and other interested individuals can continue to connect with online classes and other wellness instruction through the Bluestem Wellness Centers – Hesston Facebook page and at hesstonwellness.com.
