We have been hard at work investing in technology to provide a more seamless user experience on our web services over the past year.  Last Friday, we officially launched our new database system and website.  If you haven’t had a chance to check it out yet, please visit www.leadingagekansas.org and look around.  Members can click on the member login button and click on “forgot password” to set their password and gain access.

Here are some highlights that we think you will like:

  1. You can now register multiple users for events with one single login and payment! (We can hear the thank you’s already). The primary contact of the organization has been given authority to do this.
  2. Smooth and easy to understand registration forms.  The Edge members will never again have to ask if they are part of the club when registering. That price will be the only one you see.
  3. Updated Member Directory which showcases the types of services members provide.
  4. Event calendar that can be searched by category or date.
  5. Manage your own profile and include your picture. Primary contacts can also manage the individuals that are linked to their organization.
  6. Updated Careers Page — Members will now have the option to purchase space in our featured jobs section.
  7. A specially dedicated RoP Page for nursing home members. This will be a place where you can get our latest information and tools on the Requirements of Participation from CMS. We are getting ready to launch a bunch of tools to help with your policies and procedures and much more!

In a few months we will be launching other exciting features including an online community for affinity groups to connect with each other. Stay tuned as we roll out all of the new features.

Having trouble viewing the website? You will need to clear your cache and wait at least 30 seconds. Don’t know how to clear your cache? That’s okay.  Use this handy tool to clear the cache in any browser.

We really want your feedback.  Send your impressions and suggestions for the new site to dana@leadingagekansas.org .  If the suggestions are possible and make sense for the majority of users, we will incorporate them.  This is your site – we want it to work for you!

Special thanks to all of the individuals and organizations who helped to make this a reality.
