Recently Lynn Hinrichsen, USDA Rural Development State Director and Jessica Bowser, USDA Public Information Officer traveled from their Topeka office and made a visit to SunPorch for a tour. Jessica was here early on in the project and said the finished project was, “magnificent”. Hinrichsen was very impressed not only bu the buildings but the model of care the staff at SunPorch are bringing to the elders of Smith Co. “It is a facility you should all be proud of she stated. The SunPorch project was funded in part by a USDA rural development loan.
