The KC Metro Community Disaster Resiliency Network (CDRN) will conduct a tabletop exercise for community-based, faith-based, and health care organizations from 9-noon on Monday, December 17th. The purpose of this exercise is to discuss plans, policies, and procedures among community-based, faith-based, and health care organizations to prepare for some of the hazards in our region. These two tracks are intended to provide an opportunity to test either your facility plans, policies, and procedures for either an active shooter in your facility or for when you or your staff are working in the field and traveling to and from clients homes during inclement weather. This is an opportunity for partners to have the chance to work together in a low stress environment to resolve challenges that cross multiple jurisdictions and areas of expertise. Each organization is encouraged to send two or more staff, if feasible. These exercises will be held at MARC Offices, 600 Broadway, Suite 200, Kansas City, MO 64105. Register for the In-facility Active Shooter scenario or the Out-of-facility Winter Storm scenario now.
