You are invited to a LeadingAge National Town Hall Conversation to be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 4, 2018 at The Hilton Garden Inn Conference Center in Manhattan, Kansas. The event will be held in conjunction with the LeadingAge Kansas Policy and Leadership Conference.

Kansas’ Town Hall Conversation is your opportunity to provide input to LeadingAge National about ways national public policy is affecting you, the older adults you serve, and how policy could be changed for the better. Please join us for this important and exciting event.

LeadingAge National has established a new national public policy setting process, the most important part of which is a Town Hall Conversation in each state. LeadingAge state and national staff, and a member of the LeadingAge National Board of Directors, will participate to hear directly from you. Results of the conversation will be shared with LeadingAge’s Public Policy Committee, Board of Directors and staff, and will be used to set public priorities to better represent your interests and the interests of older adults in Washington, DC.

All LeadingAge Kansas members, and their boards of directors and staff are invited to attend Kansas Town Hall Conversation. The feedback from each state town hall will be aggregated so LeadingAge National can identify the most pressing issues across states, themes and emerging issues.
