LeadingAge Kansas is pleased to announce that Addy Mead has been promoted to Associate Director of Communications and Events, effective January 1, 2026.

Addy joined our team in August 2023 as Administrative Services Coordinator and has steadily taken on a growing role in communications, events, and member engagement —bringing creativity, reliability, and a strong member-focused perspective to everything she does. In her new role, Addy will continue to support and lead our communications and events efforts, helping ensure members stay informed, connected, and engaged with our work and with one another.

“As our work continues to grow and evolve, Addy’s promotion strengthens our capacity to communicate effectively and deliver meaningful events,” said Rachel Monger, President & CEO.  “She has demonstrated strong leadership and initiative, and I’m thrilled to welcome her into this expanded role.”

When asked, Addy shared: “I am so excited to continue serving members in a growing capacity. I am constantly appreciative of the welcome and support that our members have shown me over the years, and I hope to continue reciprocating that support in my work every day.”

Please join us in congratulating Addy on this well-deserved promotion. We’re grateful for her continued commitment to serving our members and advancing our mission.
