Three Rings Brewery in McPherson (536 Old U.S. 81) will sponsor a fundraising event on Saturday, September 25th, to benefit area senior citizens. Every $1 of beer sold throughout the day will be donated to the Bluestem PACE Good Neighbor Fund to help seniors live well at home.

From 4 to 8 PM, The Rolling Greek food truck will be on site to serve Mediterranean classic dishes, and from 6 to 10 PM, live music will be provided by Time and Space.

“We are grateful for community support from Three Rings Brewery and others that assist seniors with care and services that allow them to live safely and independently in their own homes,” said Sheryl Dossett, Bluestem PACE fund advancement associate. “This event will be a good opportunity to enjoy a fall evening and the company of others while also supporting others.

With the primary location in McPherson and a new alternative care site in Hutchinson, Bluestem PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) serves individuals aged 55 and better in a six-county south central Kansas region with medical, social, physical and personal care so seniors can remain living independently in their homes for as long as possible.

The Bluestem PACE Good Neighbor Fund provides financial assistance to program participants in the event of unexpected circumstances, and assists Bluestem PACE in providing the highly coordinated, integrated medical care and other services for seniors.
