A KING member employee recently experienced an electrical current incident that could have resulted in serious injury.  Luckily, the injuries were minor. This Safety Matters Special Summer Edition deals with the basics of electrical safety in our setting and the importance of a preventive maintenance program.

Tina Andres is the Director of Administrative Operations and has been employed with LeadingAge Kansas since 2001. During this time, she has been involved with all facets of the association, including the scholarship and grant programs, accounting, human resources, IT, office management, and administrative support. Her current focus is managing the accounting/HR/IT aspects of the association, including LeadingAge Kansas, EBI, Foundation and KING. She is a team player and assists others in any way that she can. Tina attended Kansas State University and Pratt Business College. Tina works at the association because of the personal experience she had with her own aging parents which gave her a distinct perspective on how valuable LeadingAge Kansas members serve elders. She feels fortunate to work for an association that has a passion for the elders. Tina’s outside hobbies include spending time with family and going on vacations.
