An initiative introducing older adults and families to the vital care and services that we need as we grow older.

Americans have never needed aging services more, but our sector is not well understood by the general public. Now is the time for us to reset the narrative, proactively telling the story of aging services. Opening Doors to Aging Services offers a robust communications strategy that you can use to build awareness and understanding.

In July, LeadingAge launched Opening Doors to Aging Services, a long-term initiative to offer members and the entire field first-of-its-kind research, strategies, and resources to inform and align efforts across the sector. The initiative is founded on a robust research and discovery phase. On October 1, 2021, we debuted a new website to share complete strategic communications guidance on how to leverage those insights.

OpeningDoors.org is a one-stop shop where members and others in the field can access the initiative’s strategies, resources, and tools. Later in the month, LeadingAge members will find exclusive members-only implementation resources. Watch LeadingAge Need to Know for updates!
