LeadingAge Kansas members gathered virtually last Friday for the fall business meeting. Minutes of the April 22, 2021 spring business meeting were approved.

Treasurer Shawn Sullivan provided the financial stewardship report, noting that LeadingAge Kansas had a “clean” audit for the 2020 calendar year. He announced that all members renewing in 2022 will receive a 5% hardship rebate, in recognition of the membership’s financial duress due to the Pandemic. Additionally, the board recommended, and the members approved, continuation of the same dues formula that has been in place for several year for the 2022 calendar year.

Dana Weaver COO reviewed the new Strategic Plan, as approved by the Board, noting primary goals and actions related to workforce, advocacy, public image and membership.

Here is a recording of the  as meeting as well as the handouts.
