LeadingAge Kansas staff met with KDHE last week brought for updates regarding the Medicaid Elibgibility Backlog.  They acknowledged that there are needed changes to the Medicaid Application for the Elderly.  They are open to input from LeadingAge Kansas members.  We will be soliciting ideas from you and forming a work group to assist with this.  If you or someone in your organization are well versed in the application and have ideas for this, please contact Lisa Stuever at reimbursement@leadingagekansas.org.

A graduate of Wichita State University’s Math Education program, Addy is using her planning and organizational skills, creativity, and love of helping others to support our providers and members. First as Administrative Coordinator and now as Associate Director of Communications & Events, Addy’s primary duties include overseeing general member communications through social media, our Weekly Member Calls, the Aging Update, and database and website maintenance. She also collaborates with the team to plan, produce, and market events across all aspects of LeadingAge Kansas, manage Continuing Education processing.. Outside of the office, Addy enjoys crafting, playing board games, video games, and DnD, and spending time with her husband and their two cats.
