We are looking for great speakers and topics for the 2020 education year. Please submit a proposal by November 20th to be considered for the Spring Conference.

- Fall Conference – October 7th & 8th, Salina
- Nurse Workshop – November 12th, Lindsborg
We also provide up to 2 webinars per month.
Evaluation Criteria
The LeadingAge Kansas Education Team will review all proposals on these criteria:
- Topic addresses a critical and timely issues in aging services and is applicable to our target audiences
- Interactiveness of presentation, with the goal of incorporating non-didactic techniques (sage on the stage)
- Allows learners to bring home takeaways and tools that provide immediate practical applicability as aging service providers
- Embodies quality, innovation, and originality
- Is clear, focused, well-organized, and designed to be interactive
- Features experienced speaker(s) with significant expertise
Other important considerations:
- Willingness to be available pre-presentation to be involved in the training and provider follow up post-presentation with questions from participants if needed, and/or writing newsletter articles about subject
- Willingness (for in-person & webinars) to make the experience as interactive as possible
- Willingness (for webinars) to incorporate polling into presentation
- Willingness to incorporate social media into presentation
- Willingness to take temp of audience/survey them for engagement
