UnitedHealthcare has reported that they are noticing an increase in Level of Care denials. If your organization is experiencing Level of Care issues (unable to get LOC corrected with the State) they ask that you fill out this spreadsheet and send it to Michelle Cowen or Emily Ramsey with UnitedHealthcare. They will escalate this on your behalf with the State. Please fill in information on the tab that is labeled “Other Misc Changes.”

If you are experiencing claims payment issues due to Level of Care that was recently updated but either the claims are not adjusted or you are having issues getting them adjusted, please reach out to Michelle or Emily and they will take a look at these issues for you.
