It is always great to get out and visit with members. Around 120 people gathered in five locations around the state recently for Leadingage Kansas semi-annual regional Roundtables. Among the topics discussed were:

  • Legislative matters such as Medicaid rate restoration, criminal background checks, electronic surveillance, and concealed carry in publicly owned and operated buildings
  • State and national advocacy on out-of-control long-term care enforcement practices
  • KanCare
  • Participants workforce experiences and the Association’s Workforce Initiative
  • A walk-through of the updated Leadingage Kansas website

Our thanks to Tallgrass Creek, Via Christi Village McLean, Bethel Home, Redbud Village and Salina Presbyterian Manor for hosting the Roundtables.
