It is always great to get out and visit with members. Around 120 people gathered in five locations around the state recently for Leadingage Kansas semi-annual regional Roundtables. Among the topics discussed were:
- Legislative matters such as Medicaid rate restoration, criminal background checks, electronic surveillance, and concealed carry in publicly owned and operated buildings
- State and national advocacy on out-of-control long-term care enforcement practices
- KanCare
- Participants workforce experiences and the Association’s Workforce Initiative
- A walk-through of the updated Leadingage Kansas website
