Healthcare Coalition Partners of Kansas has secured  funding to provide 35 – 40 Post Acute Care (PAC) facilities in both SW and SE Kansas with a small equipment package including a Microsoft Surface Pro 7+ i5/8/128 laptop computer , a Curaplex Fingertip Pulse Oximeter and a 3M Littmann CORE Digital Stethoscope to be utilized for integration within their local telemedicine system.  There will be no cost to a selected facility for this equipment package.  Rationale: Integration of PACs into a local telemedicine system can assist with the transition of patients/residents from an acute care facility, but also possibly reducing the movement of patients/residents to clinics or acute care for doctor appointments on a preventive basis. Here is the simple application formMore Information.

Over the years, Rachel has served in many volunteer roles in her community and in the state of Kansas to support senior needs, aging services education, and community mental health services. She is also a member of the Board of Governors for the Kansas Health Care Stabilization Fund.
