This summer, LeadingAge Iowa is hosting 2 Infection Prevention trainings with a focus on strategies and practices for Food Services and Environmental Services. LeadingAge Kansas is very excited to partner with LeadingAge Iowa on these trainings. 

Join us for Intersection of Infection Prevention & Control in Food Services. This session is intended to help infection preventionists, DONs, and culinary and nutrition services personnel foster collaboration skills to prevent foodborne illness. This webinar will take place on June 25 from 1:30 – 2:30 PM. Members can register for this webinar for $49 ($79 for non-members).  

Join us for Collaboration with Environmental Services to Enhance Infection Prevention. This session is intended for infection preventionists, DONs, and environmental services personnel to reduce infection transmission by purchasing and using appropriate disinfectants. This webinar will take place on July 25 from 1:30 – 2:30 PM. Members can register for this webinar for $49 ($79 for non-members).

Addy Mead
A graduate of Wichita State University’s Math Education program, Addy is using her planning and organizational skills, creativity, and love of helping others to support our providers and members. First as Administrative Coordinator and now as Associate Director of Communications & Events, Addy’s primary duties include overseeing general member communications through social media, our Weekly Member Calls, the Aging Update, and database and website maintenance. She also collaborates with the team to plan, produce, and market events across all aspects of LeadingAge Kansas, manage Continuing Education processing.. Outside of the office, Addy enjoys crafting, playing board games, video games, and DnD, and spending time with her fiancé and their two cats.
