It’s scholarship time! The LeadingAge Kansas Foundation is proud to announce the opening of this year’s scholarship application period. This program provides scholarships to full and part-time employees in LeadingAge Kansas member homes. LeadingAge Kansas has the priority of a strong aging services workforce and the Foundation supports that goal through scholarships for those dedicated to serving elders.

To date over 60 scholarships totaling nearly $50,000 have been given to support aging services professionals in reaching their dreams. Here are a few examples: CMA, Administrator, Culinary School, BS in Human Resources, Personal Training Certificate, MS in Divinity, CDM, SSD, AD, RN, LPN …  You dream it (and apply) and the Foundation can help you achieve it.

Your organization should be receiving a mailing that includes a scholarship promotional poster to share with the team. If you would like to print additional copies or share the poster electronically, use this file.

This year the foundation hopes to receive a record number of applications. Will you be one or will you help a team member be one? Applications must be submitted by August 1, 2019. To learn more about the scholarship and our past winners or to apply visit our website.
