The purpose of the webinar is to provide an overview of the new CMS Survey and Certification Emergency Preparedness (EP) Condition of Participation (CoP) requirements as outlined in final rules published on September 16, 2016. This webinar will outline the regulatory requirements for this CoP that can be used to compare to your facility’s existing EP Plan.  This CoP applies to 17 Medicare and Medicaid provider and supplier types, including skilled nursing facilities; and the EP requirements vary depending upon the provider.  The CoP must be implemented by November 16th, 2017.
