NHSN will hold Office Hours on March 28 at 1 p.m. CT to discuss reporting requirements for healthcare personnel flu vaccination in nursing homes. Nursing homes are required to make one report annually to NHSN to cover the flu vaccination status of all healthcare personnel working at least one day in the nursing home during flu season, which runs October 1 – March 31 each year. Reports are due by May 15. While not surveyed under the Requirements of Participation, this reporting is required for the Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Quality Reporting Program (QRP).
