United Healthcare sent out an invitation for their Dual Special Needs Plan Meeting scheduled for March 22 at 10 AM CST. This is a Medicare Advantage plan for Dual Eligible members. UHC would like for all of their providers to be present but they encourage providers in the below counties to attend this training as this plan is only available in these areas at this time:
- Butler
- Cowley
- Douglas
- Franklin
- Harvey
- Jackson
- Jefferson
- Johnson
- Leavenworth
- Miami
- Osage
- Sedgewick
- Sumner
- Wyandotte
In this Webinar, UHC will be providing a high level overview of their UHC DSNP:
- UHC launched DSNP in KS in January 2017.
- Members that have this plan may reside in your facilities or may come for a skilled stay.
- They will be eligible for Medicare Parts A&B, and also have Medicaid with one of the 3 MCO’s.
- They will be discussing plan requirements and billing guidelines.
