Kansas Advocates for Better Care, a vocal nursing home watchdog group, is conducting an informational tour around the state. According to KABC, participants will “learn more about issues affecting the quality of care available for older adults. What is being done about elder abuse, neglect and exploitation? Do you suspect drugs are being used to sedate a loved one instead of providing the care needed? What can you do if you or a loved one is being abused, neglected or over-drugged?” There is no cost to attend.

The first meeting is on April 10, 2018 from 3:30 PM-5:00 PM at the Ronald Reagan Building, 271 W 3rd St. N Wichita, KS 67202. The second meeting is on May 10, 2018 at 5:30 PM at the Pittsburg Public Library, 308 N Walnut St, Pittsburg, KS 66762

KABC asks that people who plan to attend email them at info@kabc.org or call toll-free: 800-525-1782.
