Is your organization prepared for an active shooter event? Does everyone on your team know how to respond should this happen in your organization?

Unfortunately, active shooter events continue to happen frequently across the country in various places, including senior care settings.  Implementation of prevention methods and response training for the team are a must.  Let us help you and your team think about prevention/preparation, incident response training and post-incident needs through our no cost Active Shooter Prevention and Response training

Join retired Topeka Chief of Police and Washburn University Public Safety Institute trainer Bill Cochran, Nate Ward an aging services safety professional with Risk Strategies and myself for an interactive, application based active shooter prevention and response training developed for aging services organizations.  The session will include a tabletop learning exercise for participants to think about the role of administrative and engineering controls, communication with law enforcement during and post event, Run/Hide/Fight response methods both as individuals and while supporting residents and communication of safety concerns as a prevention technique.

Join us for the training other attendees have called the training, “very helpful,” “thought provoking” and “informative and engaging”?  100% of attendees felt the training was effective and relevant for their workplace AND there is NO COST TO ATTEND or limit on the number of trainees from an organization.

The live, virtual training will be presented next week on June 25th and 26th.  Choose to attend from 9:00-12:15 or 1:00-4:15. (Or send a few team members to all the options to maximize the training impact.) Get registered today!
