LeadingAge Kansas is pleased to be offering this intensive leadership program starting in the fall of 2025.  The program is designed to help both formal and informal leaders, at all career stages, grow their skills and confidence, have greater impact in their organizations and use their influence to build relationships and advocate for their residents and the organization’s needs.  The program includes a combination of four in-person learning retreats, zoom-based small group discussions with a coach, reading a curated group of books, and an action learning project focused on an organizational need.  Key learning topics include Discovering Your Authentic Leadership, Leading Through Advocacy and Community Relationships, Leading Change and Leading, Empowering and Motivating. The program is led by professionals in the field that are passionate about leadership and helping others grow.

Addy Mead
Addy Mead is our Administrative Coordinator. A Summa Cum Laude graduate of Wichita State University’s Math Education program, Addy is using her planning and organizational skills, creativity, and love of helping others to support our providers and members. As Administrative Coordinator, Addy’s primary duties include overseeing general member communications through social media, our Weekly Member Calls, the Aging Update, and database and website maintenance. She also collaborates with Stephanie and Nicole to plan, produce, and market professional development events, manage Continuing Education processing, as well as assisting with office administration activities.
