One of the greatest benefits of LeadingAge Kansas membership is access to a network of professionals who are ready to help one another solve challenges.

Recently, a member community faced an urgent staffing need after learning they needed a Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) to meet regulatory requirements. With limited candidates available, the organization reached out to a LeadingAge Kansas peer group for ideas and referrals.

A fellow member quickly responded with a potential lead. While that individual was not interested in the position, the connection led to a recent graduate preparing to complete her certification. The organization connected with the candidate, interviewed her, and successfully filled the role.

What began as a simple request to a peer network resulted in a successful hire and a timely solution.

Stories like this highlight the value of LeadingAge Kansas membership. Through collaboration, shared resources, and trusted relationships, members help one another overcome challenges and strengthen services for older adults across Kansas.

That’s the power of connection at LeadingAge Kansas.
