United Healthcare is reporting that they are seeing Principal Diagnosis denials. They submitted a ticket on this concern early last week and are waiting the final information to have them corrected. Until they receive the information, the claims will deny. Once the fix in place they will have all claims that denied for w87, w88, w90 and so on for Primary/Principal Diagnosis is not valid as a Principal Diagnosis worked for payment.
