LeadingAge Kansas is pleased to announce a virtual series that will take place this fall focused on leadership and management knowledge, skills, and tools. The series will be presented by Del Gilbert of Accelerating Excellence. Topics include:

  • September 26 – Employee Accountability: How to Address Poor Behaviors and Attitudes  
  • October 3 – No class meeting 
  • October 10 – Building Harmony: How to Manage Conflict and Work Through Differences 
  • October 17 – Hire Smart: How to Interview, Select, and Onboard the Right People 
  • October 24 – Service Excellence: How to Deliver a Great Customer Experience 
  • October 31 – Emotional and Relational Intelligence: Managing Yourself and Your Relationships 
  • November 7 –   Personal Effectiveness & Replenishment: How to be in Control, Make the Most of Your Time, & Enjoy Life 

Select either the 9:00-11:00 AM or 1:00-3:00 PM group when registering.

Each two-hour segment of this series is designed to provide in-depth information, application exercises and take-home tools on the topic. Sessions will take place via Zoom. 

Content will be beneficial for formal and informal leaders from all organization types. Up to 14 CE credits can be earned for this series. Spaces are limited so get registered today.

Stephanie Gfeller, MS, LACHA is the Director of Education and Leadership. Stephanie joined the association in 2019 and oversees the development of our education programs, writes and manages all of our federal grant programs, and leads our Center for Leadership program. With her master’s degree in Gerontology from Kansas State University, adult care home administrator license, experience as a researcher and instructor at the K State Center on Aging, and endless creativity, Stephanie is ideally suited to her leadership role in our field. Outside of work Stephanie enjoys reading, supporting her kids at all their activities, serving as a 4-H club leader, and being outside helping on her family farm.
