KDHE Division of Health Care Finance will once again offer Medicaid training courses in Topeka, beginning August 25th through September 29th. Each Tuesday and Thursday during that time period several of eight different courses will be presented. The training is in-person and designed to help any staff working in any agency that deals with Medicaid to acquire a better understanding of how it works specifically in Kansas. The courses offered this time are:
- Introduction to Medicaid Managed Care
- Medicaid Eligibility – Home and Community Based Services (HCBS)
- Working Healthy, WORK and Social Security Disability
- Early Periodic Screening Diagnosis and Treatment (EPSDT) – Kan Be Healthy
- Medicaid Overview
- Medicaid Eligibility – Children and Families
- Medicaid Eligibility – Elderly and Disabled
- Introduction to Medicaid Finance
These 60-90 minute courses are presented in-person to allow for questions that are relevant to the attendees. All courses are presented in Topeka, at Eisenhower State Office Building, 4th Floor Auditorium, 700 SW Harrison. Registration is required for each course, using this registration form.
