Is there is a primary race in your state senate or house district (i.e. two or more candidates from the same party for the same office)?  If so, please act quickly to get those candidates on the record on these three questions:

  1. How will you raise state revenues to stabilize the state budget?
  2. How will you restore cuts to programs for seniors?
  3. How will you fix the Medicaid eligibility delays and problems with KanCare?

For many candidates you will need to put these questions in context for them by providing specific examples from your organization. Our goal is to have every candidate for office tasked with answering these questions, and explaining their positions on the biggest issues for long term care in Kansas.

Don’t know the primary candidates in your state senate or house district?  Don’t know how to pull off a candidate forum?  We’re here to help. Contact Rachel or Debra today.

Send us your stories and pictures of your interactions with the candidates!
